1. Digital Millennium Copyright Act
OpenTV respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our Service.
2. How OpenTV Works
OpenTV is a search and aggregation service that links to publicly available streams hosted by third-party broadcasters and content providers. We do not host, store, upload, or distribute any video content on our servers. All content is played directly from the original broadcaster's servers to your browser.
3. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content accessible through OpenTV infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent with the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including the URL where it is located on OpenTV
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

5. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was wrongly removed due to a DMCA takedown, you may file a counter-notification with us containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that was removed and its previous location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
6. Repeat Infringers
OpenTV will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We reserve the right to terminate any user's access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason, including repeat infringement.
7. Good Faith Takedowns
OpenTV processes all valid DMCA takedown requests promptly and in good faith. We aim to remove or disable access to infringing material within 24-48 hours of receiving a valid notice.
